We went through three sets of pj's in a matter of about 20 minutes. I swear it was like his body had it timed just right!! The second I zipped one up he spit up all over it! Finally the third one stayed on all night!

I'm so tired!!!

{to my crafty readers}

So I have been wanting for a long time to start a blog for my crafty stuff. I have yet to start it because I just can't come up with that perfect name. I have some ideas floating around or at least words I like but it just hasn't hit it quite right yet....so I'm asking for your help. I figure throwing around ideas with other crafty people or even any of you who might have an idea may help me to get more inspiration for that perfect name.

Here's what I am looking for....I want to post projects I've done or are working on. Things that are gifts or stuff I've done for myself. I have my scrapbooking, mini books, home decor, sewing, quilting, altered projects, and whatever else I can invent. I know that I DO NOT want the words creative or craft in the name at all and I don't want it hobby specific, meaning nothing with the words sewing, scrapbook, etc...in it. I want something that specifically says she does a "hodge podge" of different things.

So any ideas? Any at all?

{burp}

I still have tears in my eyes as I sit here trying to type....I was just feeding James a small bottle (with the thrush he only drinks a little at a time) and it came time to burp him. I have to burp him every half ounce or so or he gets to gassy and the only way this little guy will burp is sitting up on my leg with his chin in my hand and patting his back with the other. Well He was sliding down so I lifted him up and resat him on my knee and the kid burped louder than I think I've ever burped (for those that really know me that pretty loud)! With that kind of burp I was quickly ready for the out pour of the milk he just drank but when I looked down at him.....he had a look on his face like he had just seen a ghost walk through the room!! His eyes were big as saucers, his eyebrows stuck to his hair line, and the corners of his mouth seemed to be frozen wide open with his chin dug into his chest!! It scared the wits out of him so bad he was stunned then just started crying....heaven help me if you think I'm a bad mom but I laughed so hard the tears were pouring from my eyes for 10 minutes! I am just so sad that no one else was home to see it!!

{a long night}

Last night was by far the longest night we've had since James arrived in our home. He has a really nasty case of thrush and yesterday he went to the doctor to get medicine for it. I swear it was just a little bit when we went to bed Monday night but by the time it was dark last night it had spread like a wild fire and his sweet smile disappeared! At about 10 it really kicked in and boy it seemed like it would never stop! Around midnight my dear husband got up and went out to watch TV with him to let me try to sleep some, not that a mother actually sleeps soundly when they know their sick baby is in the other room crying but it was nice of him to let me try. Finally after a few hours of constant fussing we knew he had to be exhausted and decided to call the doctor to find out if Tylenol would even help if we gave it to him. I didn't figure it would do anything for a sore mouth. Before we called the doctor MY husband decided to give James a blessing. It was short and simple but a priesthood blessing still the same. After about 15 minutes as I was talking to the doctor I realized James had finally fallen asleep on daddy chest! Hooray for a father/husband who can give blessing to our family! James slept right there on daddy's chest from about 4 am until 7 this morning! I am so glad he finally got some rest. It breaks my heart to see him so sick especially when he's so young!

I am blessed to have such a wonderful family and an amazing husband worthy of the priesthood! I love him so much! And my other two boys!
